That might be why you've not found him. I'm fairly certain all the villagers before your campsite villager moves in are personality locked, so you can only find Normal, Peppy and Lazy villagers as they're the personalities that come next

If I say yes, then go and speak to Judy, would she take his place/ask to move in where Groucho is? Or is it two separate events in a sense, where even though he asked to move, it doesn't affect who Judy asks to move

Yes, tall stuff (cliffs, buildings, trees, and certain furniture items prevent the 4 tiles north of themselves from spawning rocks)

You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.

Then the seed depends on how much info there is, star shower with minute are a great help

^entering consecutive hours may make it a little easier, for me when I did mine it only took 3-4 hours of consecutive weather types each day to get the daily pattern. Doing that for a full week then got my seed - I didn't enter any shooting star information or any sort of special weather patterns

If you find a night with heavy star shower, you can find you seed in an hours or two

• Is the 6th villager from campsite mandatory? Yes, it will always be a random Smug villager.
• Do I need an empty plot to invite the campsite visitor to live on my island? No. They will suggest a random villager to replace.
• Does it matter if I lose the mini-game? No, you can lose an infinite number of times. If you want to recruit them, keep talking to them.
• If I invite the camper and they replace the villager, will that villager be in boxes? Yes. They will be in boxes same day (See Yue's Handbook) and can still be "adopted" by another player.
• Are camp visitors personality dependent? Yes, if you are missing a personality in your island that personality will be more likely to appear at camp.
• Can the new villagers (Raymond, Sherb, Audie, etc.) show up as campsite visitors? Yes, any non-special villager can visit as long as they do not already live on your island.

whenever the weather site says 'you have enough now,' i click Search Seed, and every time it says 'You haven't entered enough weather information to narrow down your island's seed. You will need to add details for more days, or more types of data to the days you already have.'

the "you have enough now", means you've found the weather pattern for the day, you'll need to keep doing that every day (for me it took a week), and then search for your seed
