hello! when i first started i accidentally gifted one of my villagers an ugly flounder fish and now he displays it in his home where his stereo used to be. if i try to give him something else like a flower, will it replace what he displays or will it remove something else he originally had in his house?

.t replace || replacing furniture is pretty tricky. You need to replace the fish with furniture that has same size. It's also possible that the villager will replace the othee furniture that also has the same size. Check below for details

• Villagers' gifted clothing can be removed via giving them over 24 wearable clothing items, as 24 is the limit for clothing a villager can hold.

• Shooting stars only happen between 7 pm and 4 am. There are two main types:

• Heavy meteor showers: These are usually announced by Isabelle and discussed by villagers, with stars shooting in groups of 5 to 8 roughly every minute or so during the whole night. These are pretty rare, averaging around 10 per year.
• Light meteor showers: Only a handful of 5-star groups shoot each hour, if said hour has a clear sky. These average between 5-10 per month.
• Note that weather patterns use a seed and are set in stone for your island, including when the shooting stars will appear, to the second. You can use Ninji's MeteoNook app (https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/) to help determine your seed and get your weather and shooting stars forecast for your island.

Lex Play on YouTube has a video discussing the pros and cons of resetting vs. flattening islands that may help if you're on the fence about it. Honestly, you're only a month in, and if your biggest issues are things like the island shape and name, it probably wouldn't hurt to reset. But that's 100% your decision to make.

I get what you’re trying to explain to me but the each tree you see in the photo that is fully grown is exactly one space apart from eachother.

It falls under stunted trees, there being more than 12 trees growing too close to each other, so some of the trees block the growth of the other. In short, you can grow them somewhere else, then move them to the desired place you want them. Otherwise they won’t grow like that ^^

I've been doing some research about the whole primary/non-primary console thing and I found that non-primary consoles can only play downloaded games when you're connected to the internet. I did some testing before and found out the sizes that ponds become rivers for rectangular bodies of water:
1x6 ; 2x9 ; 3x10 ; 4x12 ; 5x14 ; 6x15 ; 7x17
But other shapes are much more complicated, I couldn't figure it out from testing.
Also the water being connected to a waterfall or the ocean automatically makes it a river
