I think there are a few islands you can still get where that stuff won't spawn though, have you checked that too? the flower islands are out but i think ones like curly river still preclude stuff like beetles from spawning

ahahaha yeah, the first island i went to was a trash island and i was SO confused as to why beetles weren't spawning 😂 i moved the palm trees back around a little and beetles spawn on some of them but not others (so far) which i guess is better than not at all so i'll take it

if you're the only one on the island with the host it isnt really an issue, but if there are other people there they all get sent to the airport and it can cause some game play to be lost based on when the last autosave was

depends on whether you like the gifts, gifted are often cheaper or free, but they might have ugly items or clothing....that being said the process of moving will actually get rid of and reset some items so it will be less of an eyesore (if that makes sense to you)

A villager can be horribly gifted with furniture, but when moved to a new island might only display one item at a time (so it doesnt ruin their normal house layout as much). Clothing however is reset so they will be much more likely to wear more of their gifted clothing which can be good or bad depending on whether you like the clothing they were given

not entirely true, I have moved some villagers between islands as a test and Merengue is the one I really tested with, she had many floor and tabletop items as well as a lot of clothing she displayed instead of wearing. Her floor furniture that I gifted is more or less all gone and the tabletop stuff just kinda cycles through and seems to change every so often. only one clothing item remained as furniture the rest is now in her regular wardrobe.

Basically her house was a mess originally because I couldn't say no to her, and now it look pretty close to her default again 🙂

It depends on the villagers all floor items are gone from display but still in their storage. Most tabletop items stays and some clothes they wear randomly even the custom design from the previous island. I tested this too with my 3 islands. The villager from first island retains items in second and in third still have the items that the first island has given.

Oh yeah they will keep the stuff but in a much less offensive way. As for custom designs those are gone after a short period of time IF you have Ables FULL of custom designs 🙂

they can be hard to spawn. a method I use is drop a trad item near your home (or any building really) on diggable path (grass, dirt, sand) and enter and leave to force a fly to spawn

Nope, they are used to make money. You buy them for low price on Sundays, and then during the week the Nooklings will buy them for a lot more of you have luck. If you have NSO though can use the trading channels to try to sell for high prices
