Time traveling does not reverse / rewind progress. You still keep all the progress, items, etc. that you've completed / acquired even if you time travel backwards.

the clams need to be digged from the beaches, you can spot them by the little water spraws on the beach were you need t shovel

they are quite common and can be farmed buy running alon the beach and going back

he's a non playable character that can visit during the week, he's usually adrift, passed out somewhere on your beaches, he has a lil quest where you need to help , by digging up stuff for him, and the following day he mails you a reward

if you tell them not to move, that villager will not be able to ask again until you say no to someone else. You'd get a 5 days threshold before anyone can ask again. if you ignore and close the game, someone else might ask tomorrow

Not necessarily... There is a chance it's going to be the exact same but the genes could also have mutated a bit. So if you need seed red roses, it's best to actually use that to be sure there's no mutations in your flower field

I used it successfully but I remember also having this notification at first after I restarted my island and was looking for the weather seed. For me it helped to find some shooting stars and give in their times. It seemed more reliable than the weather, since sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between the different weather types

It's been a while ago, so I'm not sure anymore but can you give in the times but without the seconds showing? So just 23:25, 23:31, etc? Maybe your switch time is like one or two seconds off from the clock you used? If that's not helping, I don't know how to fix it either, sorry 😔

Oh, so your camper is actually a required move-in to progress. What do they say when you talk to them? IIRC with your first camper, they need to call Tom Nook and then you talk to him to receive a plot to place down

Your very first campsite visitor will keep coming back

After they say there's no available plot, Tom should give you a plot when you talk to him again; it's possible it's already in your pockets if you've talked to him after that too

they bring items you've gifted them, such as decor or clothes, however your taste is not everyone's taste and getting them "anew" is a lot of work, especially for the house if you don't have the dlc

I had the same issue with Apple, and what helped was

• talking to her daily. The meaner you are (ignoring them, smacking with nets or pushing them out of the way), the LESS they want to move out.
• gift other villagers instead. A wrapped piece of fruit in a piece of wrapping paper is a gr8 option!
• hold SOMEONE ELSE, someone you wanna keeps house kit in ur inventory. They’ll never ask to move if you’re holding their plot, so you can take them out the roster!

Other important notes:

• Last to move in will NOT ask to move out, unless you use an amiibo
• If they asked, and you said no, within the last I wanna say 2 weeks, they won’t ask again.
• stay around 12-2pm, and check by their house, and your resident services. Don’t spend more than ~2 minutes looking for them. I personally moved Apples’ house next to mine to make this easier!

the risk with this is that this is not a clone but an offspring with the wrong genetics. It is more sure to use only pairs, and not odd coupling. if I were you, I'd throw out the new flower, separate the odd one out, wait for it to clone if you are sure of the genetics of it. if it clones, you can put it back with the others to do a 2x2 square (and not diamond) wich is also a safe formation. any offspring (so descendant of a breeding pair) that is not what you want you throw out

(Not sure how much of this is relevant so very sorry if this is an information dump) When I got a switch 2 I transferred all of my save data including my island and HHP save data to the switch 2 since I wanted my forever island there but now I'm wanting to create a new island on my old OG switch. I have a physical cartridge that I was planning on switching back and forth between the two switches since I don't intend on really traveling between the two islands ever. When I tried to boot up the game though I got an error message related to HHP basically telling me that I would need to remove the game file from my switch 2 and load it back onto the old switch. Is this because both consoles are linked to the same individual NSO account or does it have something to do with the fact that I'm using the same cartridge? I want to be able to play HHP on both switches but not sure if I need to buy another version of the game and the DLC or upgrade my NSO membership

Yes, gifted means that the villager from previous owner(s) was gifted furniture items and clothing. You can’t really get rid of gifted furniture items by complaining to Isabelle like you can gifted clothes, but you can try and replace furniture items they’ll display with ones you prefer. People usually favor ungifted villagers since they’re essentially “new” and only have their default furniture and clothing ^^

so this is a good layout, and yes you do need a special kind of flower to get purple, if you follow this guide pick the red buds from red and blue to have a 6.25% chance with a purple, don't forget to clean non good flowers as they pop up

if you want more of a kind once you have the color, I advise using "cloning" so you isolate a flower, not touching any other of the same breed, and you water it until it clones itself

It's an accent wall! You can unlock the ability to use a wallpaper you have on just a single wall through the DLC. The window effect is then added with just one custom design repeated :)

The islands are saved to the switch ureaelf, I think you'd have to make a yrasfer in the game itself for the islands to transfer. So you should be able to make a new island if you have a different switch

I have AC on my original switch.
Just bought a Switch 2 and asked questions on Reddit and here was what I was told.

When you are setting up the Switch 2 DO NOT select "transfer", as that brings over all of your save files and games and settings.
That includes your island on your Oled and WILL erase it!

Set it up as a new switch, but using the account you always use.

Then, you can download the games individually.

When you do this and start AC for the first time, you will be given the option to either transfer your island or start a new one.

If you select transfer, it WILL erase the island on your OG switch>

However if you start a new one, then you get to keep your OG island on the old switch PLUS you get to have a new island on your Switch 2.
Even though you have to "load/unload" the game, your save file stays individual for each one.

I got my Switch 2 last week, and doing it this way I have my old island on my Switch and a new one I just started on my Switch 2.
Only bummer is that my Resident Center just went from tent to under construction today, so no Bug Off, lol.

But a kind Villager did let me visit their island to participate!

There are some YT videos that show how to do this.
But it is doable!

You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.

They said that Celeste does not show up every time, however she will show up once a week.

According to the video, the easiest way to see if she is on your island is to use the boombox in front of Resident Services to do the workout!
Since everyone on the island shows up, if Celeste is on your island she will be there too!

Do you mean his default blue wallpaper/interior and not what comes with the starter homes? The only way you could change it from the starter house design is by either using the DLC once you unlock the ability to redesign villager homes or you can move him out and then move him in again later.

No, shooting stars don’t guarantee that Celeste will visit, but yes she does prioritize heavy showers. On the other hand, her presence guarantees that there will be shooting stars!

A fast way to tell if she is on your island is to go to the boombox outside of Resident Services and do the Group Stretching.
Everyone on your island shows up for this, so if Celeste is on your island, she'll be there!
After you're done, just go find where she is.
If she isn't there, then you don't have to waste time looking for her.

• Shooting stars only happen between 7 pm and 4 am. There are two main types:

• Heavy meteor showers: These are usually announced by Isabelle and discussed by villagers, with stars shooting in groups of 5 to 8 roughly every minute or so during the whole night. These are pretty rare, averaging around 10 per year.
• Light meteor showers: Only a handful of 5-star groups shoot each hour, if said hour has a clear sky. These average between 5-10 per month.
• Note that weather patterns use a seed and are set in stone for your island, including when the shooting stars will appear, to the second. You can use Ninji's MeteoNook app (https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/) to help determine your seed and get your weather and shooting stars forecast for your island.
