1. Play the stalk market: buy turnips at a low price and sell them high.
2. Dive and catch sea creatures to sell back to Nook's Cranny.
3. Grow stuff (fruits, flowers, pumpkins, etc) and sell to Nook's Cranny.
4. If you have NSO (Nintendo Switch Online), trade with other players by visiting the trade channels in this server and seeing where to sell your services or goods!

Isabelle mentioning more trees simply means you need more nature points. Things that count toward me your nature score include: trees, flowers, crops, shrubs, and DIY furniture.

You’ll get partial points for flowers, crops, and trees that are still in the initial growth stages. So to get the most points for your plants, you’ll want them all to be fully grown (and bloomed, for flowers). You can't move Resident Services.
You can move the Museum however.

Yeah you can move the museum. But you have to have finish building all three home, the bridge Nook want you to build and what not.
I'm not sure how far you are in the game. But check with Nook, and see if you can say Let talk infrastructure, then layout change, then relocation.

If you don't have that option yet. Then you just gotta keep playing. You have to have Town Hall and Isabelle on the island I believe. Not the little Resident service tent.

So, you basically just have to keep decorating your island to achieve 4 to 5 stars. And making sure to keep it clean from weeds.

At this point it's just decorating your island however you want. The more you decorate it and keep it clean. You'll eventually get 4 and 5 star.
If you go to the ATM in Town Hall you can get permits for the waterfalls and cliffs. They cost Nook Miles. That'll help decorate your island.

You can go on youtube and watch people decorate their island. It'll help give you some ideas. Or you can go to #island-hangouts🛩️🏝️ and visit their island and see what other people done to their island. For some inspiration. If you have the online subscription that is.

Hiya! You bury them and water them using a watering can. Then when they start steaming in the morning/the next day when you bury them up again they should turn into gyroids!!

1. Check to see what the thought bubble is.
2. If it's a move out and you want the character. Do not answer them and exit the game.
3. Change the date to the following day.
4. Go back in and see who it's on that time.
   And you continue those step until it someone you don't want.

If you answered them it can be 5-15+ days till another villager want to move out.

Yes! I mean don't answer them when it give you the option to let them leave or not.

So, you can click on them to see if they're asking to move. But don't answer the question if you want to keep them, and want to see if the thought bubble will go to another villager the next day.

If you change the date backwards from the day you wished you’re not gonna get the star frags on the beach. If you tt forward after you wished on someone’s island you will get the star frags. I suggest get the frags first before you sync back to real time

Celeste does guarantee that there is a meteor shower, but not all meteor showers are heavy showers. So it’s totally possible to have Celeste visiting during a light shower, where you may only get a few shooting stars in an hour (possibly even less).

The spawning mechanics for fleas are a bit different than other insects. There are some requirements and limits that can prevent fleas from having the possibility to spawn, but in general it’s random. And even when it’s possible for one to spawn, they are very rare. You mostly gotta get them from the nook store. Or visit someone who will let you catalog their items. Villager gives you items, but I wouldn't go that route. It would take too long to catalog furniture. And I think only Saniro amiibo give you their furniture.

If your villager invites you to their house sometimes they let you buy an item but I'd say it's not a reliable way. Normal villagers amiibos won't unlock furniture items, only the Sanrio ones. There's not really any other way besides "having the item in your pockets".

The pro design option shouldn't be necessary since path designs aren't pro designs. Check if you have the pencil option, if you don't have it then you haven't redeemed the permit for it.

The one with the hole in it is called “face-cutout standee”. You just need to have the pro designs tab in your custom designs app. Then use the portal to find & save the design. When you select the design, you’ll see an option to place it! (There’s no physical item you need to obtain)

I have another 2 plots ready, so I went to another nook mile island but didn't find another villager, and it occurred to me that I might have to wait until Meringue moved in fully but I wasn't sure.

You can only invite one villager per day from mystery island. If you placed all the empty plots already, there is a chance that the others will autofill though, since you're only guaranteed the first day for it to stay empty. You can invite villagers from other players today, but no more will appear on mystery islands unfortunately.

I'm looping myself around actually. You can gift villagers on their birthday on other islands, but I'm not sure about regularly. I've never been able to gift a villager on another island - or seen it happen.

In terms of residents gifting each other, it is rare enough to where it wont fill their inventory in my experience.

If you have HHP you can reset their house via Isabelle but you need the dlc

If you’re in the right month(s) for your island and you’re looking in ponds, then you’re doing everything you can! They have a very low spawn rate (3-4), so you may just need to keep at it

If you can find a NMT island with a pond, that may help speed things up a bit. Other than that, just keep trying and I’m sure you catch one eventually!

It just depends on what furniture items you’re looking for, but in general any purchasable furniture is typically going to be from any of the following: Nooks Cranny, Nook Shopping, or Nook Miles Redemption. There are also some DIY furniture items that can be crafted if you have that recipe.

You can either just clear out the things you have and sort of start from scratch that way. Or, if you want to completely reset the island, that is an option too! Just keep in mind that resetting the island will delete all save data and you’re starting over from day 1.

Some people prefer just clearing/redecorating, others prefer a total reset — It’s totally up to personal preference which route you feel is best for you!

Does anyone know what hobbies actually do? I've read that the only thing they effect is what activities the villager can do outside of the plaza, but I've seen several of my villagers doing multiple activities all over the place. As an example, I've seen Papi (nature hobby) running around with his arms out and I've seen Dom (fitness hobby) walking around the beach with a shopping bag. Am I misunderstanding this?

I started off playing on my husband's island but I got frustrated at how much of the game he had access to that I didn't. This past week I started up a new island on my own switch and have been enjoying the game a lot more. We already had two, though. I think a lot of this depends on your situation. If you have the means to get a new console and if you'd get use out of having access to a second one, my opinion is it would probably be worth it. Hope that helps!

The only ways you could have them separate would be to store them in the storage of another player's house
Or you could store them in the recycling box, but only do this if you have a small amount of items as otherwise you might not be able to get them back (either drop them on tables then use the terraforming app's cleanup feature, or play in local multiplayer and have secondary players pick up the items)

Yes, the first camper will always be a smug, he will appear the day after the camping is built.
• Do I need an empty plot for campers after the first camper?
If you don't have 10 villagers yet you need to place a plot for the camper to be able to move in.
If you already have 10 the camper will replace a random villager, that will immediately be in boxes once you've agreed.
