1️⃣ Be courteous to others. We are all sharing this space. Do NOT sit in the voice channels if you are not actively using it.

2️⃣ Please limit your use of profanity, and do NOT use slurs or derogatory tones or language.

3️⃣ If you can't speak English, you will be kicked. This is an English-only server as stated in #rules-you-must-read‼️.

❗ GAMES & ACTIVITIES

  • Make sure when playing games together on stream that you're still following server rules.
  • Do NOT draw inappropriate or NSFW images.
  • Keep your game and Discord names the same where possible.
  • Use PG/family friendly modes.
  • Use common sense, and be respectful to each other at all times.
  • If you are hosting, please make an effort to keep the games under control and following the rules.
  • Staff have the right to terminate any game at any time if rules are not being followed.

❗ STREAMING

  • Do NOT stream games or content about controversial, sensitive, or potentially triggering topics such as gender, sexuality, religion, politics, race, depression/suicide, violence, eating disorders, etc.
  • Do NOT stream illegal content.

❗ SOUNDBOARDS

  • Please use the soundboard wisely. It's fine to have fun, but remember that some people want to talk too, so don't be obnoxious with it.
  • NO NSFW sounds!
  • Do NOT spam.

❗ TROLLING

  • NO trolling or baiting for arguments.
    -# (Trolling is defined as creating something to intentionally provoke conflict, shock others, or elicit strong negative/emotional reactions.)
  • NO mic spamming.

❗ TOXICITY & HARASSMENT

  • Toxicity or harassment towards other members, including staff members, will NOT be tolerated.
  • Do NOT investigate or harass users you believe are underage. Instead please send us a modmail through @alpine oxide so that a mod can look into it!
  • Attacking individual staff members WILL result in stings. You may DM @alpine oxide for clarity, but staff decisions are final, and arguing past that point may result in stings.

❗ RECORDINGS

  • Recordings of any kind are strictly prohibited in VCs and will result in a ban. This means you CANNOT record VCs in any capacity. Recordings are a direct violation of privacy and will not be tolerated.
  • Please do NOT send reports in the form of a recording as this will result in stings. If you hear a rulebreak, you can report it via Orvbot.

You will be punished accordingly for breaking the rules. This list is NOT exhaustive. Mods may apply more or less stings as they deem appropriate.

Voice Channels

  • 25 Saying blatantly racist or extremely offensive things.
    -# (e.g. 9/11 jokes, terrorist jokes, n-word, racist/homophobic slurs.)
  • 10+ Playing NSFW audio, or other similar trolly behavior.
  • 10+ Deliberately playing extremely loud ear-blasting audio or screaming into the mic.
  • 10+ Excessive toxicity/drama.
  • 5+ Mild arguing with other members.
  • 5+ Mildly inappropriate/nsfw comments.
  • 5+ Join/leave spam.

Voice-Text Channels

  • 25 Posting explicit image(s) of gore, extreme violence, sexual content or pornography, racist content, or disgusting/shock content.
  • 5+ Posting inappropriate/nsfw memes/images.
  • 5+ Shitposting (sending multiple spammy low quality messages/images).
  • 1+ Sending mildly inappropriate/nsfw messages.

🔊 More Voice Channels? 🔊

  • ANY user can create a new voice channel by using the .session command in #voice-text💬.
  • The voice chat can be created for between 2 to 12 people.
    -# (e.g. .session 3 will open a voice channel for up to 3 people max.)
  • (Optional) The creator of a session can use .session lock to block new users from joining the session, and .session unlock to allow users to join again.

  • ‼️ Avoid starting arguments with users by verbally threatening to report them.
  • If you have an issue please ping <@&494448231036747777> in #voice-text💬 or DM @alpine oxide discreetly with the full details of your concerns.
  • Members of staff will often join VC on alt accounts, meaning we have a presence most of the time.
    -# (Please remember that even if you don't see a member of staff in chat, that doesn't mean that we're not there. That being said, if a situation is not being resolved it may be a time where a member of staff isn't available, so doing the above is a quick way to get help.)
