Hello, I go by many names but i've stuck with "Kevin" for the time being. As my name isn't english, I am also not english. I live in southeast asia and have surprisingly good english. Some even say my english is better than my native language! I dig puzzle games. And sandbox games. I also dig destroying things in those games! and sometimes destroying real life things with the 2 Grit. I'm a 14 year man and currently 9th grade I am also quite a fast learner. The subjects i am best at are Maths and English. I jsut started playing Animal Crossing last year on the gamecube emulator. I loved it. So I played New Leaf. Loved it even more. Then played New Horizons sometime during feburary when i got my Switch fixed up. My other favorite games are: Portal, Portal 2, Team Fortress 2, Lego City Undercover, Minecraft, and some more i cant rember. My dream job is taking to the skies in commercial aicraft. And if that dosen't work, I hope becoming a well-off content creator. Thats pretty much all I guess.

I started playing few days ago and immediately fell in love with the aesthetics and peace of this game. This game became my go-to game that I play actively.

Hii I'm Cherry! I've been a fan of the Animal Crossing series since I was a little kid. I started with City Folk on the Wii! I've also played New Leaf and Wild World before New Horizons. I had a huge obsession with Animal Crossing in middle school and again in high school. I created my island, Water Color, when I was 17 in 2022 (I'm almost 20 now!) but neglected it for about 2 years and 9 months according to my villagers and unfortunately I haven't made a ton of progress yet. I used to have a previous save file when New Horizons came out that was a perfect 5 star island and reset it! I can't remember why, but I'm looking to match my current island to my old island's perfectionist state.

I also am very interested in villager popularity! I love having some of the most popular villagers on my island and that's arguably my favorite part about the series. I love ranking villagers in tier lists and voting for them too!

Hey, I'm Doug.
I've no idea how to use discord properly, but when looking for guidance on how to collect all the different fruits when you don't have any friends who play that you can exchange with, all the pointers I found pointed to this server.
Originally got the game and started the island so my kid would have a low consequence videogame he could mess about on - his poor hand dexterity when he was younger meant that games that required more coordination and where you could die if you made mistakes were very upsetting for him. ACNH seemed like a perfect solution because he could just potter about getting used to the controllers and not worry if he didn't achieve anything.
However I've ended up being the person who runs the island and after years of not doing anything ambitious with it, I would now quite like to make some progress with collecting what I'm missing and decorating/customising the place.

I've been playing ACNH for I'd say 4 years now, but 2 of those years I didn't really play. I'm only just now getting back into the game, due to my need to play something fun portably.

My favorite villager is Kyle, suprisingly he's probably the closest to me as any other villager. I am an active ACNH player, I love to play with other people and I even fish for people a lot. I have nearly every fish in the game in the mueseum, and It's probably my favorite thing to do in the game.

I enjoy other games like Fallout, but mostly I enjoy retro games.

Hi i'm mari, just got back into animal crossing not too long ago and restarted my island from scratch after not playing for many years, figured it'd be a good idea to join a community discord, i basically came here for hanging out and trading, but i see that there are events and contests too, so this will be more fun than i anticipated! honestly don't know why it took me this long to join a community, but as they often say, better late than never :]

Some things about myself:
I'm chilean, my timezone is GMT-4, i'm a trans girl so that's cool i think, i don't have a favorite villager as of now, if i did, i forgot, because it's been way too long since i was deep into this

Now some serious important things about my recent life that i should get out of the way right away:
part of the reason why i got back into it is because as of now i've been battling cancer for more than a year now, so i've had to isolate myself a lot, we've had to be very restrictive about going out, specially after chemotherapy, (also, just for the relief of anyone reading this, i'm fine, things are going very very well, i'm doing perfectly fine as of now, i just gotta finish what i started with chemotherapy, but i'm very positive things will end before the last quarter of the year) so yeah, and i very recently remembered "oh yeah, animal crossing exists", which again, i'm very surprised it took me this long, but yeah, that pulled me right back into my 2020 animal crossing phase, so that's been pretty awesome, and because very soon i'll have a bone marrow transplant, i'll have to be fully isolate from the world for multiple months to ensure i can make a safe full recovery (2020 all over again lol), so animal crossing will be one of my only escapes for that period of time

(also soon enough i'll officially start my transition, and like, i'll be transitioning AND beating cancer at the same time, i think that's very very cool)
