Seeing someone breaking our community rules and guidelines?
The best way to let us know is by using the /report command.
This can be used in any channel. Your report will remain invisible to all members except the moderation team. If you are reporting a situation that happened in a voice channel or DMs, we may contact you for more information. Please set your DMs to allow messages from server members and/or be sure to check your message requests.
What do you do when you see a member in crisis
Healthy Gamer isn't an emergency service; it's a community for growth, connection, and support. As such, we sometimes don't have the ability to provide the help members need. If you feel that someone is in a crisis situation, you can use the /crisis command in the #bot-commands channel to refer them to the appropriate emergency resources.
If you feel a situation is potentially in violation of rule 10, "[A member's] mental health should not come at the cost of someone else, the /report command — paired with pinging <@&1073242365826977913> and/or myself for any message in need of immediate removal — is the best way to get our attention.
Reporting situations involving mods
When you use the /report command, you are asked for a description of the situation and a user involved. If you list a moderator as that user, your report will only be visible to admin. To avoid bias and keep our users safe, moderators do not see nor investigate reports on other moderators.
