what do you mean by mental checkpoints?
An example would be, if I'm playing Mid, after 2-3 auto atks, I glance at my map, then my Cooldowns, then my next creep target, then repeat.
Something like that?
maybe but more advanced
like keeping track what is happening in a teamfight
its a trouble for me
On the beginner level, it helps by creating mental habbits.
when all champions get smashed together I dont know what is going on and just pressing buttons
when I watch someone play league I have no issue with pointing out what could go better
but when Im occupied piloting my champ in a game is hard
its*
I wanna get my mind sharper
I switched setting that displays champion names instead of nicknames
but it didnt help much
maybe I should do research on flow state or some shit xD
this way playing will be surely more satisfying
If everything and the entire teamfights and accounting for all the cd and ults happening at once, for me, I just focus on the immediate area; basically what immediately what's in front of u and just the champions that are directly and largely threatening u
Focus on one thing at a time ...and as your mind gets comfy with 1 or 2 things, and when u notice that's longing to look ffor more things to be concerned of, then it'll find the 3rd and 4th factor that'll add to your awareness
But u have to be fully aware of the 1 or 2 things and comfy with them first
maybe I should think more what could happen in a fight before it happens
That helps!!
and not going on a "freestyle"
It helps that u know your options because things happens
its gonna be so mentally taxing xD
also practicing vital mechanics like kiting as an adc is important, that has to be subconscious,
after u feel that it's part of your subawarenees, that'll give u more time to add more things to be aware of
does that make sense?
yep sure
btw
I remember the time I took magic mushrooms for the first time but the effects were very mild so I went playing league
and I was so in the zone
xDD
that was perfect mindset for gaming
yea ahahah so ya focus on one thing at a time, then after u feel that it's 2nd nature, u can start adding the next thing u want to focus on, then practice a lot
