This investigation started with me wondering why rabam airsmash cancel wont work but as it stands i opend up a can of worms that got put away for to long, im dissapointed that some of it is still not working for years, also im dissapointed in the sorcs on console, why has noone talked to staff/cm/gm so those problems can get fixed??
Did they do that then why PA?

The following Skills are not working as they should:

Rabam Skills:

-Shadow Wafe-
Shadow wafe`s controller input after Schadow Erruption overlaps with Soul Reaper.
Shadow wafe gets casted first if both are off cd, The controller input was and is not needet and only disturbs most Awa combos.

-Engulfing Shadow&Shadow Ignition-
As i got told both rabams are, since the implementation, not working correctly, u cant cancel into them, or most of the time out of them, Any pc Guide has the Ignition into Engulfing combo mentioned in some form or another, to me this is questionable as of why its been 4years and noone tryed to fix this problem? was it known but noone told so u swept it under the rug?
Fix the slow activation time when cast from ringmenu (as if we have any other choice) and give back sorcs two of the most used skills in succ and awa, or give us an actual controller input and not like the failed "flow" attempt from Shadow Wafe

Awakening Skills

-Soul Harvest-
The skill description is not correct, pressing a dosent activate it.
Switching from preawa nightcrow into the starting animation of it is to slow.
Bugged animation after Absolut Darkness released when using controller input, The character does the shard of darkness buff animation when using the controller input then cancels it and does Soul harvest, this is random and inconsistent each time e.g u get no animation of it or u get the full buff animation this leads to inconsistent combo lenghts

-Nightmare-
Yep it still has problems
Target range for the jump is to short compared to Pc
After Sould Harvest pressing B with any trigger/bumper will cast the skill not just left stick back or like in the description B

-Cry of Darkness-
(i try to not be biasd on this skill since bod core is still deep engrained in my muscle memory)
The autopathing of the blades still is buggy and not working in dificult terrain, even with the target beeing on a player it happens that they just explode where they are
(plz core back )

-Soul Reaper-
cant cancel into it from Darknes Released, on pc it works

-Grimm Reapers Judgement-
The time u can hold grj can be extendet with casting Night crow, this is not possible after u reach a certain ammount of attackspeed (not testet at what point yet-- rage buff and tempo is enough allready)
i think that the "holding" animation is tied to attackspeed?

Pre awakening

-Sinister Omen-
the forgotten skill
the slow is not applyed correctly or very inconsistent (does the summen have its own acc?)
The pain Dmg is inconsistent (again guessing that the summon hass his own acc/hitrating?)

-Bloody Calamity-
Skill cant be casted when full health, on pc u can cast it with full health so console should have the same
in some combos calamity is used for accuracy shred and/or adding Dot onto the target, it also used to be one of the two only t3 skills

And at last, why cant we have the ww function like pc has? let us binde forward iframe to any other input, the way u implemented it is not good enough

As it stands for now This was all the testing i got to do for the Awa side of our beloved sorc, im not an expert regarding succsession so i would like if some1 could help on that side

I would like to add that since this last update, I have suffered a massive loss in damage against virtually all classes. The class is borderline unplayable in PVP. I am 690GS and now I feel like a seasonal character in fights. Please have anyone look at a sorc damage comparison between classes and adjust the balancing.

Since i saw this i'm gonna add some things

For rabam skills :
Indeed u cannot cancel it using a "controller" ( I downloaded BDO in my pc and tested with controller and is not possible to cancel it even in pc , only using keyboard)
Reason? I'm not sure
At first i thought it could be FPS related thing but no

I'm also curious why is not possible to cancel it since they are very important skills for some combos and some situations

Running Balanced build in sorc is completely useless now compared to before

Because if u run high eva(which was the strong point of sorc) AFTER the patch its basically impossible to do anything

You do no damage

And die anyways

Running glass canon seems to be the only effective way to do some decent damage

Also dependends on the gear you are using as well

I'm kinda sad because i enjoying playing with sorc

But now is very bad in lots of situations especially in Console with the lag/freeze that happens sometimes when in mid-large pvp

Being super squishy is one of the things

If the damage output was a little high is fine being squishy

But no

Some classes like Sage and Drakania deals some ridiculous amount of damage and can tank quite a lot since they don't need to run full glass canon build to do good damage

The current state for Sorc in my opinion need to change a little

Also some skills like Nightmare having 0 critical rate is a joke , at least 15 to 20% was enough to make use of it without the need to be using Awakening Buff to be somehow useful

It's already hard enough to use it , and how slow it is to cast the skill

So the main points for me:
1 : Be able to cancel Shadow Eruption into Shadow Ignition
2 : Nightmare Critical Rate adjustment
3 : PvP damage reduction adjustment for some skills

Since i don't play succession im not sure about the state of Succ Sorc

I played awa since ages and i try to play succ now, talkin about glass canon takes on a whole new meaning, the biggest buff pa could make is increase the dp % on sa skills
That allone would be allready enough of a buff

The crit is somewhat ok to life with cuz on eu u get insta grabed anyways

Tbh the changes didnt change much, sa fg is still unkillable but now they addet that tag to 3 new classes, mainly frontliners but if u focus them ud better off skiping them

I run a more defensive Stam focused crystall build cuz succ has easy to counter fg and like 2 Sa's

Erruption > Ignition allone would be a big help

Also Auto cast next skill when hold key is not helping much, with the lag and desync its not kinda easy

Also, pls pa, im not kidding, putting weapons away after u get cc'd... there isnt a single day that i dont encounter this bug multible times, and im shure that i dont accidentaly press the sticks

Eva sorc was a meme, a class that was accu dependant had eva passive, duno who thought of that but yea
