Did not chose simplified mainquest crossroad

I selected the normal questline from Alustin by mistake on my new season character. Is there a way to simply just accept the simplied mainquest crossroad? Or do I have to stick with doing all the main quest line?

If youve made the selection youll unfortunately have to follow thru or and I dont know if this works still but just delete the char and start over

There is a second chance to pick simplified at the heidel pass

You just have to quest balenos and when you head down the heidel pass after finishing the cron castle boss. You should read the options

I think the less complicated method would be to just delete character and restart.
