#Help with tools

Ah that helps lol
if it's an EJ car, it's really easy
may be useful for the EJ ones:
CTA Camshaft Holder 7615 (for AVCS cam gear removal, not all EJs have AVCS, pic 1)
generic non-avcs cam gear removal tool (pic 2)
cam gear holder makes life easier, but not mandatory (for timing DOHC cars)
22mm for crank pulley bolt
32mm for axle nuts (newer are 36?)
and the usual 8-19mm socket/wrench set with various extensions, swivels
good set of flathead and philips screwdrivers, JIS if you're feeling fancy
a few hex head sockets, the cam gears are held on with a 10mm hex that is very prone to stripping during removal
3/8 or 1/4 torque wrench for small bolts
1/2 torque wrench for big stuff, suspension, head bolts, etc
12pt 12mm and 14mm sockets (only used inside engine)
i see oceania so not sure what the comparable brands are but it's pretty simple for older cars
For Subaru pretty much all sockets you need are 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 22 and 32mm. There might be a 24mm and a 27mm somewhere, not entirely sure.
Logan pretty much covered it all there
For the brand side of things,
Kinchrome is more than enough and should be able to cover the majority of the tools you'd need from what Hyyry and Logan listed above
I use Kinchrome myself and love their tools; otherwise, the other brand that my mate loves is Toolpro's X range, which you can easily get from Super Cheap Auto
Something I'd add to that list (if you want to be comprehensive) is a T70 Torx for the transmission
