hey guys! well as some people might know I had a blown engine before!
and I have send the car to swap for 40k km JDM 2.5T engine.
All the accessories and turbo is from my old engine as they said they clean everything! and installed everything
and it look good! but sometimes what happens that when after a drive I park the car and wait for the Turbo to cool off or just sitting in my phone waiting for my girl
the car starts to feel weird it shakes the engine and feels like an old school muscle car shaking from side to side slowly
oil lvl is correct just changed in Subaru for 05W30 SYN after 1k drive just in case! to reflash the system again no metal was detected!

I have sometimes a P0420 code for the catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1
may that cause the problem?

it is such a small shake that I cant film it to show I just fell it moving!

Thank you!

Does the engine RPM also change at the same time as the shake happens?

No it does not! Well the gauge stays still

#

I will check with an OBD2 reader tomorrow if there is changes in precise numbers but the gauge does not move steady 900ish I would say (warm engine! To 90)

is it constant, or just an intermittent 'blip'

#

the 'phase-3' engines that reference the fuel pressure regulator off one runner of the manifold tend to have a bit of idle unevenness in neutral or park

mosly I have noticed it is constant when I'm in park!

hmm

#

can always seafoam it and see if there's any change

#

substantial carbon buildup can make engines run gross

you mean clugth cat? (sorry for my english)

clogged* no

#

I mean carbon buildup on valves and pistons. its a thing that happens to engines over time

versed pumice
#

as you said over time but no with an 40,000km engine it will be a bit wierd no?

#

ill try to catch it tomorrow in a video to upload

#

a 40,000km engine that's been around for 15 years? that will have done a LOT of short trips, which is how you get carbon

#

ohhh okay Now I get what you saying! okay perfect and what do you think can be a solution for that ?

seafoam in the US... or 'Upper Engine Cleaner' outside the US

#

(same type of product, different names)

In the video few last seconds you can see a sound coming and going with vibration

#

It’s hard to explain it

In the video the engine also very loud but in RL it is quite the microphone enhancement or something
