having some hyperspecific issue with the sound in some games (Alan Wake Remastered, Alan Wake 2, Fortnite) that I launch over Epic Games. all volume is maxed out ingame and on my PC, yet the sound is super low. sound works fine in other games, any fixes?

Ensure that the volume sliders are maximum in the volume mixer.
Alongside this, if you have an external sound card, then ensure that's put up as well.
Also, try another server location, even though that sounds odd.

Unplug your headphones then plug them back in

checked the sliders & changed servers, stayed the same, tried different (wired) headphones and over speaker but it also didn't change
don't think i can do much abt sound card cuz i'm on a laptop :(
at my wits end atp lmao, i unfortunately don't have a second device to try and replicate the issue/check if its my side only

hi! sorry my reply took a bit, was a busy day
i had already reinstalled gfn in my first attempt to fix this & my drivers are also up to date.
had the opportunity to try it on another laptop as well as the android app, found it to have the same issue
guess i should be taking this to gfn support directly?
