My little brother uses the Nvidia Shield TV Pro to play video games because he had a potato PC, the issue is that he can't have access to discord while playing (for example Rust). I tried to sideload discord on shield TV using my own discord installation on my smartphone with "Easy Fire Tools" (I connected it on the right IP adress and enabled network debugging on the shield tv) but it did not install (error message on my phone).

So, I was wondering if the app was somehow available on Geforce NOW instead of the TV.

btw is there a way that shield tv will go with Android 14 on day? If yes, will it gives us a more natural access to discord ?

The only way I can suggest you use Discord through GFN is using the overlay browsers when in a session.

If I understand, I launch a game and there should be a way to launch overlay apps?

Or do you meaning by browser opening something like chrome/firefox sideways?

Because when I try on a browser I cannot connect to voice channels

It depends on the game, for example, Steam has an overlay which has an overlay browser.
