I was successful at launching and playing the latest season yesterday. However, starting this morning, I've had it crash or freeze every time on initial launch from within Battle.net.
Frozen at the logging into Diablo IV screen.
Then, I get the sound back (for a bit) and then it all freezes again.
Then eventually, I got kicked out and received the Fenris error.
Any help you can offer?

Try another nearest GFN server, and see if the problem persists.
If it does, create a Support Ticket here: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/ask
If you encounter a Permission Error, just try again but using a Incognito/InPrivate web browser window.
