#Xbox game sync issue

Sometimes (but not all the time), I can only get an Xbox game to load if I cancel the sync. Which is obviously useless to me as it starts the game from scratch as if it's being opened for the first time. If I don't cancel the sync, it will often get to the publisher splash screen and then return me back to the game page in the geforce now app. I've tried the following:

*Using a different device
*Re-syncing my Xbox account
*Using the brows instead of the app

Is anyone having the same issue as me? This only started happening after the update that introduced the seamless integration of Xbox titles. The irony is not lost on me.

So are you on about adding Xbox titles to your GFN library to launch from or are you on about when you launch the game GFN state's you don't own it?
Can you also provide a video please.

Hi Luwuna

I'm not referring to adding Xbox titles to my account. The game is showing up as owned and I am able to play it if I skip the sync. The problem is that it fails to load if I allow the sync to complete. Skipping the sync means that I am unable to continue with my previous saves, so it is not a viable option. Pleas find a screen capture below. In the first two attempts of loading the game I allow the sync to complete, which results in the game failing to load. On the third attempt, I cancel the sync and the game loads. I don't navigate the menu in the capture but I can assure you that my game progress is not synced and my only option is to start a new game. Thanks in advance for your response!

I've just realised why my OP might have been confusing. Syncing is mention during two distinct operations within the app. One is in the settings menu, when a specific library (steam, epic etc) is synced with the account, and the other is when save data and progress is being loaded by Microsoft, when an Xbox game is launched. My problem occurs during the latter. Hopefully the screen capture clears this up!

Ah I understand the issue now with the video. That is genuinely really odd. Can you try another server location please?

I tried switching from auto (EU West), to EU Central. I also tried switching to another device. I will point out that the issue only seems to be occuring with games that are downloaded on my Series S. I wonder if it may have something to do with that? I made sure that none of them were suspended in quick resume state, but that didn't help. It might have nothing to do with the issue but I figured it may be worth pointing out.
