Hi,

I use the GeforceNow Ultimate membership.

I mainly play with the NVIDIA Shield Pro 2019.
Setting: 4k - HDR - 75MBit
It should be mentioned that the games look great!

BUT, the gaming fun and immersion is completely destroyed at irregular intervals. There are always packet losses.
Sometimes every 5 minutes, sometimes every 10 minutes, etc.. The slowdowns and picture dropouts then last 3-8 seconds until the picture (the stream) has normalized again.

So I downloaded the client for the PC for testing purposes.
Here, too, there are always packet losses, with QHD (16:9) and 75 MBit.

I also played around with the bandwidth, it doesn't matter, with less bandwidth the packet losses become a little less, but they are still clearly present.

What surprises me is that under Chrome there is little to no packet loss, even with high bitrates and a resolution of 2k.
Does Chrome use a different port or technology to stream the video and audio format?

This is the main server I use: NP-FRK-07
Even switching to other EU servers did not bring any improvement.

My internet connection is via fiber optic with 1000 down 500 up.

Then I ran an MTR packet loss test on various servers in the Frankfurt data center and let it run for several hours. In all tests 0% packet loss.

All my connections in the house are connected via 1 Gbit network cable, at least at the stations where GeforceNow is used, WLAN is excluded as an error source.

Does anyone have any idea how I can proceed to improve this annoying situation?

I'm in love with the service and would love to keep it, but it's no fun like this.

I have spent several hours trying to find a solution.... unfortunately in vain.

Thank you very much for your support!
