My GFN suddenly stopped working all of a sudden about a month ago. At first I thought it was the outdated client issue, but even after the update it still wouldn't work. Finally realised the last thing that changed when GFN stopped working was the new usb adapter I got for my laptop.

I switched to a A800 NETGEAR Wifi Adapter because the crappy wifi card in my laptop has given me hell like no other (MediaTek). After making the switch, everything has been smooth sailing except for GeforceNow. Every time I load up any game, it loads in and looks completely fine for about a minute or 2, but then kicks me out with error code 0x800C14. When I try to join back, it loads in with a black screen, and then kicks me out with the same error code.

I know it's probably the adapter issue, because when i switch back to the wifi card (and pray it actually connects to the internet), GFN works.

Some other general details in case it matters: I disabled the wifi card when I'm using the Wifi Adapter. I have restarted the router( TP-LINK), both in it's configuration screen, and just turn on and off with the power button. I also completely nuked my laptop (important files backed up already, and tbh I wanted to do it anyways), but it is still not working. I am using an extender (TP-Link). I have restarted that as well, still not working. ALSO, GFN on the browser works just fine, but I prefer to use the actual application.

Finally; No it is not feasible for me to run ethernet, because both the extender and the router is too far. I do not live alone. It would also be preferable if I didn't have to spend money on a powerline adaptor.

Technical Details:

GFN Version: 2.0.65.151 (App)
Laptop: Acer Aspire 5
USB Wifi Adapter: A800 NETGEAR
Server: Auto (AU West 1)
Mbps (GFN SpeedTest): 100
Ping (when it loads the first 2 min): 20-50ms
