Use this steps to force GeforceNow load MODS from Steam Workshop in your game.

Start the game from the GeforceNow
Close the Laucher and maximize the Steam window
Click in your profile in the top right of the Steam Window and click Switch Account.
Click in your account again, it will restart Steam.
Go to your game library click on...
