whenever I play a game in fullscreen my cursor appears and it can get in the way, is there a way to prevent this?

If you're using the browser, try using the app and if you are using the app, then reinstall GFN.

Do you have any overlays enabled? If so, try going into them then exiting them or disabling them completely.

i turned off the gforce now hud and that seemed to work
