#geforce now lag issue

As you never explained it correctly, tell us here...
- What do you mean by "lag"?
- Which games you tried?
- Are you using WiFi or Ethernet?
- During your GFN session + checking the network stats (CTRL+N), are you getting latency spikes or/packet loss?
OK. Other questions, then...
How much bandwidth you have available? When you run a Speedtest, how much does it show?
WiFi 2.4GHz is chaotic to play any cloud gaming service. It shouldn't be unplayable, but you can expect a few issues and streaming problems.
Use this website: https://www.speedtest.net/
At the end, it will also show your IP Address. So, if you're willing to post a screenshot, censor your IP.
Well... Let me point you a few things to pay attention.
You're getting a very low download speed. A LOT LESS than it's recommended to use on GFN.
Nah, it's not something they fix. Seriously, we speak by experience as we are here, at least, for 5 years. 😅
A single app update won't fix any lag, related to your bandwidth.
What can cause some playable experience you had, it was because your internet was better. You getting higher download speeds and less latency.
GFN doesn't depends only on GFN Dev Team, but mainly on our Internet connection in general.
Sorry. I didn't meant you change your internet, but the quality was better when you were having a better experience.
With you current download speed, you won't get any improvents and GFN will remain as you're facing now.
But keep in mind that it's your internet, not GFN. Otherwise, 100% of the users here were claiming the same thing.
I can also explain that...
GFN for Mobile devices is optimized for limited connections, slow speeds, etc.
This is why you get a playable experience there.
Not even Epic Games. I play Fortnite, and zero issues.
Yes, you can always try. I recommend you to try, and see how it goes.
They don't support keyboard and mouse yet.

But it won't cause you problems on GFN.
But on GFN, do what I suggested before and you skipped...
Open any game session, and press CTRL+N, and you will see a screen like that (the stats window at the top right):
There, you should be able to track your current latency, packet loss, etc.
There you will see how your internet is behaving during your sessions.
But it's up to them, of course. If anything is wrong, probably Epic is working to fix it.
Personally, I play on GFN and Xcloud, no problems at all. No lag, no server drops, nothing.
And do what I said above. CTRL+N and check your stats.
Your packet loss is chaotic. Probably caused by your WiFi or some interference. 😅
And yes, it can cause lag, stutter, image degradation, etc.
The FPS is measured by in-server. Your ping, is a base.
Your problem might be caused by that packet loss.
Your end.
It's completely rare that GFN face any problems that affects users like that.
There's only one server with facing routing problems, but not sufficient to destroy user's experience.
If possible, try to use a Ethernet connection.
Oh my days. It's bad to use it to play games.
Local ISPs are better. Portable WiFi, 3G and 4G are the worst to play any cloud gaming.
This is relative. As every user is unique, with a different set of devices, everyone have a personal experience.
Do not rely on what others are experiencing.
The problem related to Fortnite is different from the one you're facing with GFN.
Your problem with GFN causes packet loss, stutter, bad image quality, etc. Due to your connection.
This is what is causing problems to your ARK Survival Evolved connection.
The other problem, on Fortnite and you saw on Twitter, is related to the game.
Your end, your connection. As I said, GFN doesn't have problems like that.
Again... Let's split the events, as you're still confused...
Fortnite = Epic Games having server problems, which doesn't affect your GFN streaming in general.
GFN = Your slow download speed is causing you packet loss, bad image quality and unplayable situations.
No, GFN isn't having and not even causing problems to Fortnite or any other game.
There's no other free platform. GFN is the only one.
Xcloud, but you know that you will be limited to the controller.
3516 of packet loss.

By getting a local ISP. While using mobile hotspot, you won't get any better results.
A internet service, not a mobile one.
For example... Orange in France, AT&T in USA, O² in Germany.
