Everytime I attempt to get on performance mode and login to my account it either ends the session or brings to me to an previous account I've logged into. Help please.

First... Do not change to Performance mode, as it can cause this problem.
What you can do, is to unlink your Epic account from your GFN app. That one you don't want to use.
Then, link again, using the one you want to use on Fortnite.
