Am I right in thinking the ONLY way to do this is from a laptop or PC with HDMI2.1 or Displayport 1.4? And that all other options: TVs, Samsung smart hub, Nvidia's own Shield devices cannot do it?

HDR is Shield only. 4K is 60 FPS only.

Ultimate tier my friend.

I know, my friend.
So wait for the official FAQ to be released and you will find everything that you need there.
It's not available yet, but it should inform you completely about how it will work and the available features.

I have already?

Can anyone else who isn't a sarcastic tw*t with a chip on their shoulder help me out here?

#

Ultimate when it gets the 4080 is meant to allow 4k 120fps (and HDR I'm assuming) but on what devices? Just PCs and laptops? Because the Shield is only HDMI 2.0.

I'll dismiss your thing right above.

From the GFN Thursday:

#

I'm not sure about the HDR, but I will ask. But I don't think it will be available.

Also, I'm discounting smart TVs at this current time, unless anyone knows different?

Thanks in advance

I'll ask for some additional info.
