Whenever I want to play the Witcher 3 I have to fully install it on steam

Nothing is installed locally,

The only thing installed locally is GFN.

Everything else is stored in the cloud/their rigs.

No, you don't need to uninstall anything.

GFN uses steam (if you select the steam version of the game), so the game needs to be installed onto the GFN server that you are playing on... Nothing should be downloaded to your PC.

I did, that’s why I’m asking. I have it on gog also, I’ll just try that version.
