#Can't launch any game via GFN app - browser works fine

Just installed GFN for the first time, I've connected my steam account and all my games are showing. Any time I try to launch a game however, I'm greeted with this error.

Oddly enough, I can run any of the games fine via the browser. I've tried disabling firewall and antivirus, as well as running the app in Administrator. Have disconnected and reconnected my Steam account also. Anyone experienced similar or have some further troubleshooting to try? Thanks!

I have, yep! I got this email back from GFN support and have tried the cache deletion without success. I’m in win 10, no games work in app:

To analyze the issue please provide the following details.

  1. Does the issue occur with all games?
  2. Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the app and check?
  3. Which Windows OS are you using?

Try To clear the cache follow the steps below.

  • Close the GeForce NOW client if it's active.
  • Open the Windows Run command by pressing Windows + R together.
    -Now copy and paste the following command within the bracket as is (%LocalAppData%\NVIDIA Corporation\GeForceNOW).
  • Delete the entire "CefCache" folder.
  • Launch GeForce NOW client and try again.

When I deleted the cache, on first launch of a game it showed a screen testing my connection to the server, which all looked good. After the test completed it’s back to the same error each time I try to launch.
