Hello I logged out of my steam account on GFN and connected a new one ( I am using family share to "restart" my game progress without actually having it deleted ) however, it still logs me into my original account, even if i have my new one connected.

A trick that always helps, is to change the password of the account that you want to disconnect from GFN.
It will force GFN to ask for your credentials again.

So, I think you need to setup your family share again. There's no much that we can do/suggest, as family share is luck shot to use on GFN.
