Assuming Q2 2022 numbers for Twitter (237M DAU)
Notable communities to bring over: FinTwit, Celebrities, Brand PR, Big Fortune 500 companies doing exclusive campaigns.
How does Threads tie in with ads? This will be the next news catalyst to push $META in either direction. The execution and time of implimentation is key.
Also key is delivering on features that users want FAST so they can make the switch permenant.
Another key thing: Twitter has always sucked ASS for marketers to run on backend. Tweetdeck hasn't gotten an update in like 5 years and the API issues have only made things worse.
If $META can deliver on making a microblogging platform that is efficient and beneficial for social media managers to use and gain value from via ads. This is a real competitor... even if it has 1/2 the DAUs. The $$$ from each DAU will be greater and more beneficial to $META market share.
