Current major event:

~~the Nova Kachovka dam in southern ukraine has been intentionally destroy. This will prompt wide spread flood down stream flooding kherson and dnipro. Ukraine has blamed Russia. Russia has blamed Ukraine. Some of Russia even denies it happened. Russian state media says it’s due to just damage and isn’t blaming anyone yet.

This will spawn potential 4+ days of widespread flooding down stream. Many important places rely on this river and rely on the dam. Including Crimea for irrigation.

Ukranian Counter offensive has "Begun", but neither the ukranians or the russians seem to be commiting a large amount of resources yet. Its a bit of a chess game. What Ukranian forces are being used has received mix results. One area in particular the russians are well entrenched so the UA is taking heavy losses. Meanwhile in another are UA forces are pushing through to the point RU correspondents are stating the conditions are getting critical and this could be the difference between success and failure.~~

Russian armed forces have reportedly targeted a wagner camp with airstrkes. Wagner leader Prigozhin stated "The evil of te russian military leadership must be stopped". This has kicked off an attempted coup by the wagner organization on the Russian Ministry of Defense. The Russian MoD has set all Special operations forces on high alert and locked down the government building for the MOD. Both sides have declared war on one another as well.

So.

Some of the forces you see are Russian national guard. The vehicles with blue police lights are national guard.

But the rest seem to be Wagner.

So based on that I’m guessing the National Guard members stood down and didn’t fight them.

Wagner is withdrawing all troops from Ukraine as well as africa.

I noticed that many ppl are all of a sudden treating Peskov’s statements on this “deal” as fact. His track record of truth telling is quite terrible

I remain cautious about assuming that Prigozhin has actually agreed to any of these points or plans to exile himself in Belarus

I’d like to add he may not be “arrested” but they may have escorted him in for questioning because he has knowledge of the mutiny or other aspects of it.

It’s hard to quickly determine what exactly is happening thanks to translation issues.

China is a big reason why I don’t think Russia will go through with causing a nuclear incident.

China doesn’t want their main ally against the US to become fully hated. For now they can atleast have some plausible deniability. But causing anything nuclear and that’s over. China would likely have to distance themselves too

More drone attacks inside Russia. This time a ukranian produced drone kamikazed / was downed in moscow. One hit a high rise office building.

The main guy i saw reporting this stated they have the range to fly from Ukraine and into Russia then to moscow but I somewhat question that. I very much question their long range drone abilities. They were likely launched from inside Russia. Either Ukrainians infiltrated or partisans. Either way the drones are ukranian.

One key thing I noticed is the drone flew in a way where it looked like it wanted to be seen. So they’re either searching for AD systems or just trying to give the Russians in moscow a taste of their own medicine by scaring them are forcing them to realize they’re not safe from this war.

Don’t worry. This is completely safe for work. Nothing bad happens.

I found it interesting due to the behavior of the drone as it gets close to the Ukrainian unit. It’s fine at a distance but the moment it gets close suddenly it goes way off course, the feed cuts really early and the whole thing misses by a mile.

Feels like some sort of electronic warfare system at work protecting them.
