I want to start by saying that I'm not going to mention sound design or animations or anything of that sort, as it is extremely early and I understand why those things must be unpolished.
My feedback pertains to the actual core gameplay experience. I will be comparing it almost directly to Ravenswatch, as it's the most similar game I can think of.
Heroes: The hero pool is small. Much smaller than the original Evercore Heroes. I like the designs, but they don't feel very good to play.
Roguelike powers: This further accentuates the issues with the heroes. "do x% more damage when you're low hp" doesn't change the way you play the game. It doesn't spice up the heroes gameplay at all.
Maps: It's just procedurally generated circles. Nothing exciting. Ravenswatch has a full map with random spawning objectives beyond just "kill 10 monsters".
Overall design concept: Why would you take such an amazing idea like "Co-Op PvP Mythic+ with League of Legends style gameplay" and dumb it down to be a worse Ravenswatch? It's like the lack of success for the OG ECH led to a pivot to what WAS popular at the time, but the genre of roguelikes and the fad is already dying. By the time this releases nobody will care anymore.
I'm disappointed by this. I bought early access to the original game because the idea was so fresh and cool. This is just... bleh.
