Fetch stuck unable to give me tutorial rewards

Just started the game and slowly going through the tutorial sections, seems to be unable to give me the bar of soap and scooper and the only way i can close out was alt+f4-ing

it is 😭 im forced to not click him at all or else softlock, thankfully the rest of the game still works
