i havent used terrain mutch but as far as i can tell are you using a brush to spawn a bunch of grass objects?

Yes I am using that default terrain tool ..in which we use brush to put the grass on terrain

this looks like what you need to place the new texture

you can probobaly find all things with texture t on the split map then replace them with texture t2

maby it would be easyer to paint actual grass objects because those become real things that you can easely get or change

But it is difficult to get the density and effect like we see on texture painted grass
