My game currently doing well. But someone have created a mod version (8 Months ago) which had exploit. And they are 6 players consuming 20 GB bandwidth per hour. They consumed like 230 GB in 6 hours. My game average have 200 GB monthly usage.

Is there a way to change relay service keys or something from new version so old version of my game dont work anymore?

The network manager has a protocol version that can separate builds from each other. But that's not gonna stop a hacked client.

If you know the offending player ids, then you can ban those IDs from Unity Authentication.

#

The extreme measure would be to create a new cloud project and delete the old one.

Yes I do use remote config. But how can I stop old version players

#

Without changing project

hacked client can just change their local version though

I don't think they are hack client

#

Like I want to change something which can prevent all players to play and they can play by updating to new one

#

In future I will try adding blocklist versions in remote config

Ok, then changing the protocol version will do that. You would just need to push out an update to do that

We have to change in both right?

Ohh then the problem is same still. How it will prevent old versions?

#

The host also uses old version

@solid crypt

# void talon The host also uses old version

Yea. if you need to stop a host then you're only choice is to use Remote Config. As long as it's not been hacked, you can have the host check its version with the version on Remote Config at startup. You can then force an update if its different

might also be worth it to submit a Support Ticket. Just see what the devs have to say
