The Light is a fast paced movement shooter built around speed control and precision. The movement is inspired by classic Valve Source engine games, where momentum is everything and every input matters. You chain jumps, strafes, and air control to build speed, hold it, and push it further with every run.
Combat is directly tied to how well you move. The faster you go, the harder you hit. Left click attacks are close range melee strikes that reward aggressive play, while right click is used for ranged attacks and utility. Holding right click lets you throw a sticky grenade that can be used to launch yourself, opening up new routes and giving you more control over your movement.
You can slide to maintain flow and reposition quickly, and even crouch mid air to fine tune your trajectory. Every mechanic connects back to momentum, letting skilled players turn movement into both offense and defense.
Levels are built for replayability. Short runs, tight paths, and multiple routes encourage you to improve your time and execution. Small optimizations matter, and every run can be cleaner than the last.
The Light is easy to start but hard to master. At first you are learning how to move without losing speed. Later you are refining routes, chaining mechanics together, and pushing the limits of how fast you can go.
