Hello everyone, I recently bought this Background VFX package [ https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/vfx/particles/background-effects-198996 ].

I'd like to slow down the speed of the spark animations and I'm not sure how to. I'll try to provide all data. Please tell me if I miss anything. First attachment is the prefab..just an empty container.

Add depth to your next project with Background Effects from Hovl Studio. Find this & more VFX Particles on the Unity Asset Store.

Second is Sparks object

Last is BigParticles object:

I tried adjusting start speed values and if it had any impact I couldn't see it. Similar with Simulation Speed value. I don't really know how this stuff works at all so I'm not sure where to check. Is there code some where accessible that I can look through to see what is happening. In the assets folder I only see materials, prefabs and textures.

the inspector values are pretty much all the necessary values you´d need

They don't seem to have the impact I want. Any suggestions on how to slow down the spark movement?

how about limit velocity

I don't see that one anywhere

the checkboxes

then define a curve

#

if i remember right, it should give you a curve you can edit

Attached is me enabling "Limit Velocity over Lifetime". Far left of speed there is an arrow. I can select "curve" but it doesn't seem to do anything. Sorry, I just don't know how this works at all.

you have to find out, but i m certain that the velocity is what you have to change

I'm posting here to find out. I don't know how to find out any other way
