I have no experience in coding And I'm wanting to know how I can make this trigger action.

So basically I have a map, a beach map That peaceful sounds play but I'm wanting to make it where after like 7 minutes the whole map goes dark and the sounds stop then a monster spawns (I'm gonna model the monster and it's animation soon) I'm just wanting to know how to do it or if there's a tutorial on how to do something like that?

For the darkness, if you are using realtime lights you can simply disable the gameobjects

#

If you're also using environmental scene lighting, it's a bit more complex to change at realtime, but are you?

# scarlet silo How long did it take for you to learn the basics?

Iirc at the start I spent a week or even two trying to play it by ear without following any guides, and basically wasted that time barely achieving anything
Then I went to follow some actual courses for at least two months getting a solid foundational understanding
But that went beyond just learning the basics and becoming familiar enough to search for solutions on your own

It's possible to achieve what you ask within a day or two, but it's your choice if you want to just want to get your plan done, or to learn more than is absolutely necessary so every further step gets easier quicker

# scarlet silo How much does it usually cost

That varies a whole lot by how much work you're asking for, and what kind of quality you expect
There's now developers on freelance service marketplaces, which makes it way quicker and cheaper to hire someone to work on a game than it used to be, but it poses its own challenges
There's a youtube trend of paying various amounts to freelance developers to make a game, which may be useful to give you insight of how money converts to code
And there's cautionary tales also
