#HELP / My spot lights are not working

Make sure the surface uses a lit material, and can be lit by other light sources
Then move the spot light along its blue arrow very close to the surface
This ensures the range limit doesn't cut off the light, and that intensity isn't too low as lights are exponentially brighter closer to the source
i also tried that but nothing
the material is just a basic u nity cube with white material
Do you have other lights in the scene that do work?
yes, pointed lights work perfectly fine
Try disabling all lights except the spot
It may be a light limit issue
Creating a new default cube or other mesh and moving it up to the light should also work
Just for the sake of testing I'd boost the light intensity a lot, at least to 100
And increase range too, as it doesn't ensure reach of the light, but limits and fades out the light
i tried all of this
also no limits are set :/
could it be that somethings wrong w my general light settings? cuz i had to make the scene all dark
Is the light in this picture enabled?
And what are its properties
Every light has a range limit
I guess there might be a setting that disables spot lights, but I don't recall ever seeing one
Can you show the scene view next to it too?
And increase range and intensity as I suggested
