Over the last 3 weeks I have been working on a game called "NecroNova" which has Sekiro like combat and a feature where the more you parry without getting hit the higher a streak goes. The higher the streak the faster your light attacks are and the more powerful your heavys are. If you want to play it safe you can sacrifice some of the streak for a heal or sacrifice for a special move maybe. I started it out of spite cuz my friend and I were originally going to make it together but he got barely any coding in over a month and a half so I started it myself to see how fast it would take which was about a week to match his progress. I am currently just trying to get a boss out for the prototype without the streak in game (scheduled to be done before January) any tips or ideas? I would also like to know some good ways to keep progress without motivation cuz I have right now is spite and telling my friends about it and how I want to send them a prototype notlikethis catto (animations are stolen but I have ones I will put in; gameplay shown had a broken lock on that has been fixed; concept art is the boss for the prototype which I have begun animating)
