Sending code as attachments is common mistake beginners make, and sometimes they send multiple files. this seems to have led to quite a few mutes, e.g.:

I'd guess the intent of the mute is to stop image/media spam, but it just seems to hinder the process of asking/helping in these instances. Perhaps filetype should be taken into account?

Maybe have the first message be blocked/deleted with the user being issued a warning notice. If the user is unable to comprehend the warning notice then following up with a mute seems reasonable.

You need to send 8 attachments practically at once to trigger that.
Some select channels are exempt from that as well which might have a reason to have that many posted, but there's no reason to send so many attachments in code channel..

Post here if there are any more false positive like that. I'll see about retiring the rule if the specific wave of bot spam it targeting subsides.

it might be like, 3 code files and 5 screenshots.
considering the attachment limit for a single message is 10, what about setting the threshold to like, 12? that'd still catch the image scam, since that spams multiple messages across channels
