Wouldn't be calling Undo functions redundant because we're already in a context of a scene save that can be undone ?

In your case yes. I just meant generally when modifying a scene/prefab/asset in editor.

Yes alright, it might be why I never faced the issue before, as I was always using undo for editor scripts (or actually saving the assets)
