A fast-paced, top-down 2D arcade WW2-themed roguelite. With exaggerated cartoony characters, over-the-top weapon effects, and rapid escalation of chaos, the game focuses on replayability, simplicity, and satisfying action. It aims to blend the accessibility of Vampire Survivors, art style of Brotato with the thematic style of WW2, reimagined as a comedic and chaotic battlefield.

The core loop is designed for instant gratification:

  1. Player moves in 360°.
  2. Enemies swarm in waves.
  3. Player earns XP to gain upgrades.
  4. Chaos increases exponentially over time.
  5. Objective: survive as long as possible.

Gameplay focus:

  • Tight controls
  • High visual readability
  • Intense feedback for player actions

This is my first actual game, after many smaller ones and prototype. I am finally aiming to release on Steam. I will polish and make sure this is the best game I alone can make.

So far the core loop is done, still a lot of polish and new features to be done. I am to add Steam items as cosmetics as well that people can purchase and achievements of course.

Some assets, we got the soviet on the left, german in the middle and the player on the right (kind of faction neutral)

Also dont question the grip on the thompson wanted something diffrent

Everything is getting along very nicely, got the XP system and doing lots of polish rn
Such as animations, sounds, effects
