Hi everyone! I saw this wonderful devlogs section and thought — why not share my journey?

Who am I
I’m Toni, the solo developer behind 32 Bits Studio. I also work as a freelance marketing specialist to pay for my bills until my game is out.

Before becoming a game dev, I spent almost 14 years working in sales. During that time, I started several degrees — never finishing one... until I discovered there was one in video game development. That changed everything. I fell in love with creating games and stories, and decided to chase the dream of becoming an indie dev. Now, I’m about to release my first commercial game, and it feels incredible and also very daunting to finally see it come to life.

About the Game
In Crimson Apostle, you play as Renfield in a prequel to Bram Stoker’s Dracula — a man trapped between remorse and madness as he faces the enigmatic Countess Dolingen of Gratz. You'll have to solve puzzles, survive terrifying visions, and uncover how ambition led Renfield to his fate.

I’ve showcased the game at BCN Game Fest and Gamesis (Vinaròs) — where it even won an award! The feedback so far has been amazing.

Any wishlist or feedback would mean a lot! ❤️

** What You’ll Find Here**
In this devlog, I’ll be sharing:

  • What I’m currently working on
  • Useful tools and tips I’ve found along the way
  • The emotional highs (and lows) of being an indie dev

I’ll be posting at least once a week — hope you’ll join me on the journey!

You can escape the horrors that lurk in the dark... but never the ones you carry inside.
