#Lights don't affect clouds in HDRP?

Hi. I was trying to create a lighting/storm effect in HDRP, but when I try to add a point light inside a cloud, the cloud doesn't seem to be affected by that light. Is this supposed to happen? Does anyone know any tutorial on how to make a good storm weather in HDRP? Thanks

Yep, doesn't seem to be supported out of the box. And implementing it is pretty complicated I'd imagine, can't find any tutorials.
If you're savvy in computer graphics and shaders, you could try inspectng unity's cloud implementation to see where you could plug in lighting(for lightning) and stuff.
If you're not, you're best bet is probably a third party asset, like this one:
