#How did you do that? Cause Winodws still

Ok, it involves a couple of things, so this will take a minute
to lock to Windows 23H2 i did this. using gpedit.msc, go to
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Manage updates offered from Windows Update
Manually edit the entries shown
I also use https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10 to control many things. if you select beyond 'recommended', things can get hairy. Caution is advised.
Despite the name, this works on Windows 11, and is receiving updates. it is considered trusted.
i generally use my catlike reflexes to cancel updates i do not want 😄 but, i also use wumgr, or if that is not working for you, newer alternatives like https://github.com/CodingWonders/updgui should. it has been a while since wumgr has been updated. it does not tend to work past 23H2
@past notch this should cover it. let me know if something gives you issue, and thanks for asking 🙂
i should note, gpedit.msc is a windows pro tool. i think home would require registry entry changes to do the same thing
Awesome, thanks a lot! Im going to give this a try later today
