So about a year ago, I had an idea, what if I made a 2D game on paper? Now it wasn't effecient and not very fun, it was also kind of a one time thing cuz it was paper, the whole premise of the game is there is a starting point, end point, you have to get to the end point but there is security guards walking around, if they catch you, you restart, there are hiding spots and the AI is good, it's supposed to be so that if a wall is infront of you the gaurd can't see you, if they see you they chase you and if you escape them they will go to the last place they saw you, then the will be on high alert for 20 seconds, im planning for theyre to be puzzles so it's a little harder and I decided to use unity, one problem, I have NO clue how to code ANYTHING and am soo sad cause I can't get anything to work, also, if you get caught multiple times on the same map more gaurds get added so it's basically unfair lol, bit in settings you can turn that off, we can forget about that for now, just the first features I mentioned, I was thinking using a raycast to detect walls and I already have the movemt set up, the time I made this thread was 3:20AM so please, if you will, help me lol, answer this at any time you wish!
