#Need ideas for my 2d game!

Been messing around with a 2D fighting/platformer game, here’s a quick clip of what I’ve got so far. There’s punching combos, rolls, slides, parries… but I’m kinda out of ideas for what to add next. Any thoughts on new mechanics, enemy types, or ways to make combat more fun?

You could add an awakening to your character
You could make certain levels where the player can get a revenge token, like in one finger death punch
You could make 4 skills for each state of your character: base, awakening (ultimate) and revenge
For each move there is a finisher that plays after a player kills an enemy with a certain skill
Can also add air variants for skills.
I think that's complicated though
