Something is missing I know it.
TMP Text and InputFields within a horizontal layout group this is how they behave:
[Hello I'm tmp text. I expand and expand with horizontal layout group and non-fixed width. Awesome]
[He(llo I'm InputField. You won't see the rest of my Text because my input field does not expand dynamically like TMP text does, to cover the rest of the width space in our horizontal layout group)]
So frustrated. I spend days with this and no results except changing and changing it, which then leads to the same results with similar issues. Always something that will not let it work this way.
This would have worked a few years ago as I have it this way in old project.
InputField refuses to expand whatsoever unless it is coded.
