Hi, I've been making research about the networking solutions for a few months and I'm still undecided.

  • I like ngo but I heard its only good for 4-8 player casual games which is not my case. And comparing ngo with other solutions, its missing some techs such as lag compensation, clientside prediction etc. Also ngo and mirror has high bandwidth usage compare to other solutions.
  • Mirror looks similar to ngo but I also heard fishnet is improved version of mirror so I dont see a point for using mirror because of this.
  • And fishnet is suspicious to me because they have a biased google sheet table and mention it everywhere..
  • Photon fusion looks best in technology but it has 100 ccu limit and high prices. Also doesnt support steam or eos relays afaik.
  • Purrnet has some tech lacks as ngo and mirror does.
  • Netick looks good but the small team size worries me.

What kind of game I'm targeting? -> 3D, 10vs10, rigidbody vehicular combat game with rigidbody bullets.

Unlike what ngo recommends about player count (4-8), I watched the "steel aces" 10 vs 10 tank game which uses ngo and doesnt have a problem looking from my point of view.

So can you recommend me which solution should I use for this kind of game?

Yea. the only hard limits are the Lobby/Relay player limits

If this is going to be a competitive shooter, you will also need to implement your own client prediction system which is no small thing.
