God, I didn't even know microsoft owned GitHub... I'm so close to just switch operating systems and run my own local "github" or switch to codeberg. Seems like a good alternative, especially since they're in germany.
There's a realy empty market in the european tech industry. Sadly.

if your planning on using unity on the new OS just go with ubuntu, I tried CachyOS and 2 other ones got everyting to work somehow but coud not get unityHUB or even unity to download
