Building a Top Down Tank with uVS

Why coroutine with no time-based node? Could use Late Update ?

Im curious.. Whats the magic behind using cooldown nodes with small time?

This one honestly was probably just a copy/paste without any reason. I try to put in a disclaimer in my tutorials that things are functional, but not always clean.

I wanted the camera to rotate at a controllable speed. Only letting the script fire every 0.02 seconds was a way i figured out how to do that.

That sounds like s good disclaimer. I was thinking of adding to mine:

"This may not be the best or simplest solution but it works". 🤓

Hmm curious.

I use cooldown node in certain aspects to reduce the load per second.

For example onUpdate with Cooldown 0.1 we can reduce from ~60 operations a second to 10/s.

Which accumulates in stuffs like groundCheck. And so far I've tested it doesnt make the character float. (Detects the ground with precision)

Some people complain uVS lags and is slow compared to c#
